CharityI'm donating 25% of all proceeds to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF). This foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps people who have primary immunodeficiencies. The IDF advocates on behalf of the PI community, and also provides support and education. This is important to me because two of my brothers and I have X-linked Agammaglobulinemia (XLA). XLA is a lifelong genetic condition that makes those who have it more susceptible to and unable to form immunities to certain diseases. I am confident, especially now during the COVID pandemic, that the IDF will provide necessary support to some of the most vulnerable among us.
